You’re not wasting your time

Each day at the office will be motivating.
When you’re working for someone else, it can be tough to find the motivation to do the best possible work. No matter how much effort you put in, the owners of the company will get the ultimate rewards. When you’re your own boss, you will be motivation at work every day. Following your dreams is exciting, and you’re in control of your own success. The day-to-day vitality of your business depends on you, so you’ll be driven to make each day as productive as you can. You’ll know that your own hard work and drive will help you reap the rewards, and that’ll keep the fire burning in you to make each day count.
Following your passions and Dream.
Many entrepreneurs start their own business to follow their dreams and fulfil their passion. Following your dreams will fulfil you in a way that working for someone else may not do. You are in charge of creating your business from the ground up, so you can shape your company to be something you’re proud of and that you may even be able to pass on to your children as your legacy.
You are in control of your lifestyle and your schedule.
Perhaps you’ve spent years in the corporate world and you feel ready to turn over a new leaf after years of reporting to a superior. Starting your own business can give you a more flexible lifestyle and schedule so you don’t feel like you’re running in circles on that corporate wheel. You can opt to schedule meetings around your family schedule or you can opt to work from home – the sky’s the beginning when you’re the boss. You still have to get the work done, but nobody is looking out for you making sure you do it their way or time.
Starting a business is hard work, and that flexible schedule may not happen right away. Even if you’re working long hours, however, you know that you’re doing it for yourself and your family and not for a distant boss or shareholder.
Self Respect
Putting your determination to the test leads to the next best reason to start your own business: learn some self-respect. It’s not just determination that will make the path to self-respect that much sweeter. Think about how many times, in the past, you’ve had to put your own self-respect aside to comply with the wishes of your boss, a manager, or a customer. Sure, you’ll have to make decisions as the head of your own business—but you’ll be fully in charge of when, where, and how those decisions take place, if you do. You have to take responsibility for your own decisions; you’ll find that greater responsibility leads to greater self-respect, as well.
You Will Have Pride
Everyone should have a sense of pride in their job, and no one has more pride in what they do than those who are head of their own company. When your company succeeds, that reflects directly on you. When you risk failure to capture a big reward, that’s your risk, and your pay off—and a source of your own pride. When you work for a big company, you might be proud of your position, or your weekly presentation, or your raise, but none of that compares to the feeling of pride you’ll feel in the successes, large and small, of your own business. You’ll be proud of your accomplishments, of course. You’ll be most proud, however, that you had the courage to set out on your own.
You Can Inspire Others
Right now, you’re digging deep to find the inspiration to strike out on your own. And it’s quite likely that you’ve turned to others and their inspiring stories of success to provide you with motivation. Won’t it feel great, one day, to know that your story inspired another go-getter, just like yourself? Recognition, as described above, is about being recognized by many for making a big impact. But sometimes the most important impact we can make is much more personal. Inspire the next person near you—and start today, by putting your business plan into action. You’ll move from looking for mentors to becoming one, and that’s an incredibly rewarding feeling.
You will become an expert of variety skills.
Part of running your own business is learning to wear a lot of different hats, especially early on. You’ll have to pick up a lot of new skills, from HR decisions to inventory management to customer service. You’ll soon become a professional in your own industry, as well as a professional at a variety of new skills you’ll learn on the job. As your business develops, you’ll continue to pick up new knowledge and abilities. You’ll know how every tiny aspect of your operation works. You can’t get that kind of experience anywhere else.
